News from Mary Jeanne
In the midst of a pandemic we are still social beings. What do we crave the minute we are told we can’t have it? Human connection, of course. Even those of us who are introverts miss getting out with friends, stopping by the neighbor’s house so our dogs can say hello and meeting colleagues for lunch to catch up. So exactly how do we maintain the connections we are going to need when it is time to go back to work and we have no job? Here are a few ideas:- Stay visible, in a good way.
- Send two or three personal emails to friends, business associates and colleagues every day.
- Handwrite a note or send a "thinking of you" greeting card through the US mail.
- Make someone's day by writing them a recommendation on LinkedIn.
